Hey everyone!

Again it’s been a while since the last post but we are back with some really exciting news! Those of you who found our website via Facebook or Twitter will know that we have been concentrating on raising our profile a lot over the last weeks and for those who’s feeds have been blanketed with Japan Comic Aid updates, we apologise but this is how a project promotes itself to great effect.

Nowhereville copyright owned by Ken Bastard / Japan Comic Aid.

We said that if we reached 100 followers or Likes on either our Facebook or Twitter feeds we would release an exclusive preview of our first comic book to be published! This book is the incredible ‘Nowhereville’ by the super-talented Ken Bastard. We did it.

So tomorrow (March 12th 2012) at 1pm (UK time) we shall release our exclusive preview so you guys can start being as excited as we are to see it in printed form! The preview will consist of pages from the comic book.

‘Nowhereville’ is a comic in the vein of old school, hard boiled detective pulp but with a sci-fi twist… We know you’ll love it as much as we do and we’re incredibly proud of what Ken has achieved with the book.

If you really want to help us, share this post wherever and however you can, tell your friends, family or complete strangers if you’re that confident!

We write this on the first anniversary of the Great Eastern Earthquake and it is still moving when you try to comprehend the thousands of lives and communities which were wiped from the face of the earth in the space of a few hours. The effects were unimaginable.

This is why we created this project and why we need your support. It’s the people- just like you and I- who need the funds created by Japan Comic Aid so they can rebuild their lives and livelihoods.

Stay tuned tomorrow so you can get that first peek!

News: Stan Lee Supports Japan Comic Aid!

THWAP! We have some very exciting news for you!

We are proud to announce that Mr. Stan Lee will be contributing an introduction which will be published in every comic we produce. The great man says he is 100% behind the project and what it is trying to achieve.

Having the creator of the majority of popular Marvel Comics characters such as Spiderman, Thor, Fantastic Four and Hulk support this project is a major boost. Stan not only writes comics for Marvel. He is also heavily involved in manga and anime having created Ultimo (which is published in Shonen Jump magazine) and the hit series Heroman.

So how do you fancy having a comic published with an intro from Stan Lee in the front? Yet another reason to give some of your time and effort into helping those in Japan who are currently struggling to find a means to live their lives due to the Earthquake and subsequent nuclear disaster.

Thanks to Stan and Pow! Entertainment for making this happen. It is truly an honour.
